I have recently converted a few dvd's of mine to mp4 format and then transfered them to my ipod. I realized that these converted files are taking up a lot of space in my C drive. Is there a better way of converting DVD's so that I don't use as much disk space? Or is there a way to burn the mp4 files to blank DVD's so that i can reopen them later? If I continue to convet my DVD's I am going to run out of space on my computer. Any suggestions?

Thanx in advance. Kyle.

You can just back them up on data discs. If you have a dvd burner, you can back up more at a time as just data files so if you need to put them back on your computer at a later time all you have to do is drag and drop onto your hard drive. But you need to set your ipod to manual update the videos.
I just bought a 100 gig external hard drive. Best decision I ever made.
