There are a number of threads on this here already pertaining to what specific stores the iPod can be found in both generally, and even in some specific areas. A quick browse or search through this forum should turn up a number of results for you.
The short answer, however, is that all of the Apple Stores should now have the 5G iPod in stock, and most of the major retail outlets should have them by the end of this week.

Well i did not think they were in stores til the end of the month until i went to best buy (in appleton i see you live in Wisconsin so i might as well through that in) i was returning my 6Gb mini and right when i was they were unpacking the new videos so i got a 30Gb white one so the answer...NOW in stores NOW
