Sheesh, I can't get my podcasts to work properly. I have my podcasts set for manual sync and when I drag all the podcasts to the iPod, it copies them over just fine, except that when I eject the iPod and look at the directories, the podcast directory is empty. All the podcasts are listed in the library.
I *think* that when I set the podcasts for autosync, it properly placed them in the podcasts directory, but I can't do this because I use two computers and while the music library matches on both, I only archive podcasts on one computer, so I have to set the iPod's podcast sync pref to manual. Otherwise it erases all the podcasts whenever I plug the iPod into the nonpodcasting computer. As I said though, when I manually copy over the podcasts, they show up in the library. God! Any ideas? Can I set the iPod to autosync podcasts on one computer and manual on another? It doesn't seem to work. I tried. I set it to auto on computer A, went to computer B, and auto was set, so I changed it to manual. Then I went back to computer A, and was is set to manual there too, so it appears that sync prefs travel with the iPod and are not computer specific, right?
