Unhappy iPod Mini keeps turning on and off

I accidently unplugged my iPod Mini with out "ejecting it". Now it keeps turning on and off in a continuous cycle. When i reset it, it just turns off again, then on, then off, etc.. Twice it has stopped flipping on and off and displays the "recharging battery" picture, but does nothing. If I reset or unplug it, it goes back to turning on and off. Has this happend to anyone?? Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do?? Please help!!!

There's your problem. Try a Restore using the iPod updater. This will clean out your iPod's hard drive and give you the opportunity to start from scratch.

Johnny, thanks for the idea. I downloaded the software, but I cant install it into the iPod Mini because the damn thing turns off as soon as it turns on! I have no time to install it befor it goes off!

Make sure your iPod's connected to your computer the entire time to allow it to provide power. Try forcing your iPod into disk mode in the moment that it is turned on.
