Question Thinking of upgrading from 15gb 3G

Hey guys, I don't post much, but I lurk frequently. Anyway, I have a 15GB 3G iPod that gets about 2 or 3 hours of battery life and I saw the 60GB 5G iPod and almost peed myself, but then I came here, and I saw people saying, "this isn't it. Don't buy yet. The real 5G will be out by October." I was going to go to the Apple Store tomorrow morning, yet I'm not too sure now... Then I saw the news post about the iPods getting A's. And now I really have no clue what to do. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

I say, go ahead and buy it.
It isnt the 5G but if you like the 60gb color whats stoping you from buying it?
Theirs no reason to wait months for the 5G if you are happy with whats out now.

i say this is they 5g, but generations are only in the idea of the ipod user. i have never seen apple use 4g or 5g. each gen had a new feature
1g-first ipod
2g- (not sure)
3g toch-wheel
4g-click wheel
5g color screens

they july thing could be a vidoe iPod( to fill the void left from no photo) or a iphone

I'm in exactly the same situation. I'm frustrated that apple did this, I was really excited for the fifth gen, but I don't think I can wait a few more months (probably). I'm thinking about getting the 60 gb..the 20gb would be fine if it was just music, but with photos as well, the higher end one seems like a better idea. What do you guys think?

Well, I wound up buying a replacement battery for my 3G and I think I'm going to wait until about October-ish, watch the rumor mills and wait for the 5G, because in all honesty, it does look like Apple is clearing out stock of 4G stuff. I mean teh 30GB photo case with a 20 GB HD in it now? That screams left over drives... And the 60GB is probably just left over Photos. We'll see... I don't like waiting, but it looks like I should.
