Hello people sorry if this isn't the area were i should be writing this but i need help with my ipod classic 80GB i'm assuming there's a few techno nuts on ere lol so to not make this thread to long here are the problems with my ipod classic 80GB.........1. when i turn it on without it being on charge all i get is a faint apple logo sign the back LCD light does not come on 2. the HDD is making a clicking noise like its stuck in a loop trying its best to load up 3. when the ipod is connected to a wall charger the LCD screen comes on but then i get the ipod sad face then it instructs me to go the apple website for support 4. when connected to my USB lead an to my laptop the LCD screen does not come on again and i get a faint screen that says "please wait, very low battery" also my laptop makes the little noise it makes when you connect a USB device but the ipod does not show up on "my computer" or itunes i can't restore it because it wont show up in itunes and so far i have replaced the battery and still get the low battery message and i have even taken out the battery completely and connected it through my USB and laptop and still get the low battery message even when the battery is not in the ipod. I have replaced the little hard drive ribbon to that connects the HDD to the logic board......if any has had this problem and fixed there ipod please let me now and sorry for the length of this messege lol o and yes ive tried all the usual things resets, hard resets etc
