So far - Sons 120gb classic. He got option to download latest Itunes version. Had problems with it and had to repeat several times resulting in him unplugging the ipod. Resulted in it showing no music, just the photos. Memory shows 98.1 gb free as if the 4000 songs are still in there. now it will not open itunes automatically and itunes locks up when it is connected. Therefore not even the option to restore it. Have tried the softstart but no good. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
