My 2 yr old iPod classic 80GB crashed on me. I had to reset, then restore my iPod after it showed it had no music on it despite the disc showing it was 1/2 full. Now I get the message that itunes detects an ipod in recovery mode & that I must restore it before it can be used with iPod over and over again no matter how many times I restore it. I have changed the drive to Z: and tried restoring it in disc mode & it still stays in the continuous restore loop
. I tried to sync it to my Mom's computer where her iPod is working fine and got the same continous restore loop again. Is there anything left I can do? Help!Gigi aka Helpless in AZ!

Wow... I got the exact same deal going on right now. Sad to see not too many people get back to problems on here. Most searches bring up lots of peeps with issues but no replies on their threads
Did you ever figure this one out? |

Hi azcreole,
My iPod is problem and I want to get back data. I sent my iPod to Fields Data Recovery. I got an online quote and I was impressed with the ease of the process and how quickly it was settles. Just one week and it all was over. |
