iOS11 Music

Phone: iPhone 7
iOS: 11.0.1

I've just upgraded to the latest iOS and I'm sure there's a lot of features I didn't acclimate to as of yet, but there are some noticeable differences. On previous versions of iOS, when you're listening to music, and you're on the lock screen, it displayed the large art and music controls. Now, it shows a small compact player, that, in my opinion, is not great. I've also come across the issue that, even though the music controls are showing, they don't work (previous/next song, volume control, etc.). A simple restart of the phone has solved this issue for me, hope it does for you if you're coming across this.

Question #1: Is there a way to revert back to the old lock screen music player?

Question #2: If something is plugged in, (i.e. headphones or lightning cable), it seems to take precedence over other modes that COULD happen. For example, I connect my phone via Bluetooth to a stereo unit in my car (even when it is plugged in via USB to charge). Before it worked, and now it doesn't. Does anyone know how to revert back to having "plugged-in mode" (not sure what to call it) NOT take precedence? Why wouldn't I be able to use Bluetooth features if it is plugged in via USB?

You can probably force it to work by re-pairing the Bluetooth. It is possible that the upgrade broke the pairing. I had to re-pair earlier this year due to an update. So it is not unheard of.

See if the reboot and now the re-pair fixes it.

I tried this already yesterday, sorry I forgot to mention that. That DID NOT resolve the issue.

bugreport.apple.com is the only other option I can think of.
