Can I undo iOS 7 update?

I won't get on my soapbox about why I hate the new system but I want to go back to how it was before? It's not so much the features as it is the "look." I did a backup on itunes before the update. Can it be undone?

Not likely by now. In the first few days of an iOS update you can get away with putting your device into DFU mode, then restore and select the prior iOS package (an .ipsw file you either have from a prior update, or you obtain a copy from some other source).

The problem comes when the Restore operation requires the installed version to be authorized by Apple. Once Apple releases an iOS update, they stop signing down-rev iOS versions within a few days and you're likely past that point.

Besides, you will eventually need to be on iOS 7 since either (a) eventually your device may require a restore to fix a problem and your only choice will be to go to the latest iOS version, or (b) apps you have may cease to work properly under iOS 6. I'd suggest getting used to iOS 7 since "resistance is futile".
