Hello,
I sold my iphone 3GS. Before selling it I did a restore (under DFU mode*) with iTunes to iOS 6.1.2 After activation (with a spare SIM card I have), I saw my Apple ID in the setting, so I did a factory reset from the phone itself, after the (2nd) activation, the Apple ID email field was empty. *At first I made the mistake to use factory reset from this JB iphone. One thing I forgot is to remove the association of my phone with my apple ID. I read this article. iTunes Store: Associating a device or computer to your Apple I (Sorry I cant post link: kb/HT4627) I don't have "Manage Devices" option. I can't remember if I have authorize my former iphone 3GS to automatically download anything from my iCloud. What can I do now? (if needed?) Thank you. Change your Apple ID/iCloud and any other associated passwords on any of your apps. If you did an actual Restore as a new device there should have been none of your information left on the iPhone. If you Restored it using a back up then your information would have been restored on the iPhone as well.
