I may be late but has anyone heard of possible release for an iphone5s to remain competitive with the Samsung 4 that'll be released early next year.

There is a rumor that Apple is going to come out with an iPad 5, iPhone 5S, and iTV unit around March of next year. The rumor sprang up a few weeks after Apple's last event and I'm not really sure where it is coming from. There also isn't really anything behind the rumors as they are just that, rumors. I also highly doubt Apple is going to keep the iPad on a 6 month upgrade cycle and switch the iPhone over to that. There isn't currently a need to come out with a new iPad or iPhone. Even with a dual-core CPU in the A6 and A6X, the iPhone 5 and iPad 4 are able to beat out the competition in terms of performance (this includes quad-core processors in Android devices).

I could see Apple doing some type of iTV event as that is the most plausible aspect of the rumors. Moving to an early release cycle (after just migrating everything to the Fall) or making it all fit within a 6 month upgrade timeframe really doesn't seem like something Apple would do.
