Right, you need to wait before deciding if the iPhone 5 (or whatever Apple is going to call it) will suite your needs or if the Galaxy SIII will. We know absolutely nothing about the iPhone 5 other than previously released rumor and conjecture (even if that info is from super secret "inside" sources, it still isn't confirmed). Apple's iPhone even should be happening within a month. If you need a phone, I suggest waiting until then.

The new iPad has already been released. Apple won't come out with another new, 10" iPad until early next year. Anything dealing with a 7" iPad is, again, nothing but rumor and/or conjecture. Keep in mind that most sites "reporting" on Apple rumors do so to generate clicks and ad revenue. They all have some "secret inside source" that supposedly supplies them with this information. That still doesn't mean they are accurate though. In fact, most of these rumor based websites take the crap on the wall approach. They essentially throw out a bunch of crap (rumors) and some of it is bound to stick. I have seen many of their rumors (which were supposedly from those secret inside sources) come out completely wrong. That is why you have to take everything with a grain of salt until Apple officially announces it.

I've been an apple user for 3 years now (i think) but my bro is a diehard fan of android phone and he bought an S3 (first week of Aug, i think).... and yeah, i was quite amazed by the resolution... 8 mega pix rear cam, face recognition phone lock, and voice recog for the camera.... as much as i want to sell my old iPhone and purchase the S3, i would still want to wait for the iPhone 5 and see if it could offer better features...

I think we are getting to the point with smart phones were you are best to choose between what type of cloud services you want to stick with. Most Google cloud features will work with iPhones but I'm sure they work better with Andriod phones. iCloud however works best with Macs and iPhones if it even works with Andriod phones. Right now iPhones are my best option since I am tied tightly to Apple's iCloud syncing and an iTunes based media. I could convert but it will take quite a bit of work. I would assume the same is true the other way around. If I was starting out I would look at where I might be a few years down the road if Apple, Google or Microsoft (not sure if they are really in the game yet) is the route I should go.

They are in a competing market so I am sure apple will take into credit what everyone else is coming up with and will one up them. That is what always happens and will continue to happen. So when the iPhone 5 DOES come out we will se how amazing the features are. I just hope it is a little bit more durable. Has anyone had problems with their smartphones screen... What happened to the days when our phones were like tanks.
