Search option

Is there a way to perform a search on the iPhone? In otherwords, is there a way to type in a name and see if that name is under contacts or in the calendar? Thx

go to your main screen swipe so the screen goes right until the search comes up.

Type in name, see results

When I search for myself, I see my calendar appointments as well as my contact info. I also see my email and text messages.

When I search for my boss I see similar entries. So yes it gets calendar stuff too (at least Outlook calendar where the individual names are listed).

Check your iPhone's Settings/General/Spotlight Search to ensure Events is checked. You can also drag these entries in Settings into the order you want them to be displayed in the search results.
