iPhone & Kindle

I have an iPhone and a Kindle. I downloaded a bunch of free books and accidentally sent them to my iPhone instead of my Kindle. It's nice to be able to read them on my iPhone, but I'm afraid they're cluttering it up.

I believe it's possible to remove the books from my iPhone but leave them in my library (i.e., I don't want to completely delete them). Then, I could just move them over to my iPhone one by one if and when I'm ready to read them.

As I said, I'm pretty sure it's possible to do this, but I don't know how. Could someone please give me step-by-step instructions on how to do it? And, easy instructions, please, as I'm pretty much technologically inept!

Thanks!

I assume you are using fully automatic sync to get music and books to your phone (being technically inept)

Connect your iPhone to iTunes.
Click on your iPhone.
Click on the Books tab in your iPhone (look near the top of the main window the first item should be Summary, Info, then Apps, and father down it will say Books)
In the Books tab, change the selection under Sync Books from All Books to Selected Books.
Then if you want to select a book, put a check mark next to its name lower down in the window,
If you want no books, put no check marks.
Click on the Apply button in the lower right hand corner.

I'm assuming you're using the Kindle app. It's pretty much impossible to permanently delete Kindle books, so go ahead and delete them from your iPhone. They'll still be available in the cloud, so you can download them again to your Kindle device, your iPhone, or even your computer anytime you want, as many times as you want. You can even have them on multiple devices (iPhone, Kindle, or computer), and WhisperSync will remember where you left off (assuming you synced it recently) and you can take up reading where you left off!
