Hi for some reason, the second time in a week my Iphone 4S has completely shut down. I called a friend on how to restart it - press the power and bottom middle at the same time till the Apple logo appears - but why does it keep happening??? Do I have a wrong setting?? thanks in advance for any help Jay

I had a problem where mine all of sudden would show the low battery sign and then it would shut down. I tool it to apple and they could not figure out why. They ended up giving me a new phone. After I paid for it of course. It was out of warranty. I read online that it it a bad battery causing the problem. Good luck.
