Hi I backed up my iphone4 to my laptop through itunes...then i took it to an apple store and they replaced the faulty phone. A month later I have just gone to load everything back onto my phone and itunes has disappeared off of my laptop! Does this mean I have lost all of my information that was backed up?

When you connected your new phone it should have prompted you to either set this up as a new phone or restore from your old backup,
If you selected to set up as new phone, then you didn't restore your old backup. You can try restoring the phone, then pick restore from your backup. If it does not prompt you for the restore, then you may have lost the backup some how. Since backups are retained in the User Directory, if you are using a different login on your computer that might be why you lost it. Try using the previous windows login. The files should be located in C:\Users\<Login>\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup If that directory is empty then you lost the backup. You'll be starting over fresh. Isn't that fun!
