Has anyone else had this problem? When I plug in my iphone to my computer, I can transfer the photos and video files to my PC, however, the videos become choppy and do not play well once they are transferred. I would like to make a DVD from my videos on my phone but am at a loss how to do that. I have a Gateway laptop running Vista. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

How old is your laptop? The 4S records 1080P video, which may be too much for your laptop's video card. I get the same issue when trying to play HD movies on my 7-year-old "gaming" PC. That's likely the reason they are choppy. Try syncing your videos to a friend's laptop and see if the problem persists.

Turns out, once video is transferred, it needs to be converted to a file my computer can handle, I used Any Video Converter and converted it to a DVD Video NTSC movie (.mpg) file and it worked. Funny, the Apple support person could not give me that information.

when you plug your iphone into computer there should to a box opened, then you click “view files” to find the videos you want to transfer and do the copy and paste thing. If you didn’t see the box you can click on your home button then go to computer tab, you will see your iphone then click on it untill it downloads the photos and videos.
If it didn’t work, pls check this article abouthow to transfer videos from iphone to PC. |

Three methods are provided:
1). With direct drag-and-drop function, you are able to drag the chosen video files to the computer. 2). With Right Click function, you are enabled to right click on the selected video files and "Transfer to" PC. 3). With Transfer button, you are allowed to click on the transfer button and transfer to computer in "Transfer to list" option. |
