Bricked Iphone 3GS 4.3.5

Hi all,

Having a problem with an Iphone 3GS which was jailbreaked but my friend reset the network setting which results in a broken IOS.
I didn't know which IOS version there was on it. I don't have the SHSH blobs.

I tried restoring a few times in iTunes with a clean and modified host file. It ends with a 1013 error at the end leaving the iPhone in recovery mode.
Also tried with latest redsn0w + TinyUmbrella version to JB, fix recovery,....

I'm now completely stuck in recovery mode.

Any advice?

Thanks!!!

Have you tried to restore first with the regular un-JB iOS and then try to re-jailbreak?

I've just restored it to regular 4.3.5 in iTunes with empty host file. Gave me a 1013 error at end of restore. iPhone itself is in recovery mode rebooting once in a while. Can't do anything.
