Really Really Important Please Read

I Want To Install iPhone OS 4.0 Beta 1 Or 2 On My iPhone 3gs 32 gb white.

Is There A Chance I Could Brick My iPhone?

If I Do,
Is There Actually A Way To Downgrade It To ANY Version And Then Put It On 3.1.3.

I Seen Videos On Youtube
but,...I Don't Know....

If I Brick My iPhone Can I Use Blackrain To Get It The Way It Was?

I Seen A Video On Youtube By "Hacker100"
but, Can This Be Done On My 3gs 32 gb To Downgrade It?

Why would you want a developer version of an OS on your phone unless you are planning to devekop (in which case I would imagine you'd already know the answers to the above)?

Can't you wait a month and a half for a final version to be released?

It's going to be buggy, half-baked and not fully functional as most apps won't yet commercially support it.

Seriously - unless you're a developer - stay away from it until it's in full release.

Thank You For Your Response.
I'm Not Being Rude But, I Know It's Buggy And All. My Question Is This:

Can I Downgrade After?
Or Will I Be Stuck With An Error While Restoring It?

It's Really Hard For Me To Wait.

Yes you can downgrade, but it's not THAT simple.

Instructions here:
http://www.gadgetsdna.com/downgrade-...firmware/2045/

But be prepared for the downgrade not to work. You won't brick your phone, but may have to live with OS4.

As Jason said. It's buggy and 3rd party apps will probably not work. It's just like a jailbroken phone

Bryan

Thank You Sooo Much For The Link.
I Actually Did Found This Website A While Ago.

What I'm Afraid Is That I Won't Be Able To Restore It And Then I'll Have A Brick iPhone And The Apple Store Won't Be Able To Replace It If I Tell Them Some Other Excuse Why My iPhone 3gs Won't Restore.

Cor blimey, it's only an OS, how good is it going to be?!!! Just wait 'til the release version comes out and save yourself lots of bother.

Apple said that OS4 would be released in the summer so I don't expect to see it before end of August or early September. Yes there are a few
features that I really want but in no way will I install it on a device that I use on a daily basis. I don't want to have a bunch of my programs not run just because I was too impatient to wait.

I have OS4.0 beta 1 on my iPhone, up OS4.0 beta 2 on it and realized it was buggier than beta 1 so I reinstalled the first beta with no trouble. The person I got 4.0 from was able to downgrade to 3.1.3 but I'm not sure the steps he took.

4.0 beta 1 isn't that bad. I've experienced the camera doing odd colors if you take a picture while zoomed in but it's fine at normal zoom. There are only a few apps I have that don't work, Mark the Spot is one of them.

Overall it is a great upgrade, minor bugs and all...

I Have Decided To Pay Someone 10 Dollars To Get My "####" Register.

I Have 4.0 Beta 3

I Love It.

I Don't Regret Installing It.
And I Can Downgrade To 313 Whenever I Want.

It must be a pain in the arse putting a capital letter at the beginning of each word.

The only stupid question is the one you fail to ask.
