Mobile me questions

1. Can you configure a me.com address with Outlook?
2. Can me.com be configured using IMAP?
3. Are people finding the "find my phone" feature to be extremely battery draining?
4. Is there a way to funnel all my various email addresses into me.com so I can have just one mail box on my phone?

Thanks for any help

One more (non-related), is there a way to post a thread on here from an iPhone and enable email notification?

I found the apple help on this to be useful.

http://www.apple.com/mobileme/setup/pc.html

I have configured Outlook to access my mobile me account, and I have just tested that me.com and the iphone pick up folder changes I made in Outlook, and it worked.

As for funnelling your other accounts, I know that you can forward yahoo mail to a @me.com address, or you can configure me.com to check an external pop account. I have just tested with my yahoo account and it seems to work (albeit temperamentally)

Having find my iPhone setup means that the GPS needs to be switched on, I think this may be the cause of battery drainage.

Having GPS turned on for anything will drain the battery, but I have not noticed any real day to day difference in battery life with the Find my iPhone feature enabled.

I think MobieMe will allow you to enter the server info for other accounts and it will go check periodically and then push the messages to your iPhone. It doesn't give you real "push" from those other accounts though. I've tried it some of my POP e-mail accounts and decided it was better to simply allow the iphone go out an query the servers every 15 or 30 min vice letting MM do it, that's just my opinion though.
