3GS and Griffin Simplifi dock?

Has anyone else managed to get the 3GS to work properly with the Griffin Simplifi dock? When I plug my 3GS into it, I get the "Charging is not supported with this accessory" message, and the phone does not charge. It does sync OK, though. Also, the Simplifi charges my wife's 3G and my iPod Classic (6G) just fine. I spoke to Griffin and they claim that the Simplifi should work fine with the 3GS. Anyone else seeing problems like this?

Works fine for me. BTW, I do not have the AC adapter connected.

Yeah, I'm not using the AC adapter either. Good news, though, I was able to solve my problem with the Simplifi based on a tip I got on another board. The solution was to do a "Reset All Settings" (under Settings -> General -> Reset). The 3GS now charges fine when I plug it into the dock. If anyone else is having problems with charging accessories, this might be worth a try. Note that Reset All Settings does not delete your data, but I did find that there were a few things that I had to reset afterwards (e.g. wi-fi settings).
