Question iPhone Out-Of-Warranty Battery Replacement

I have an iPhone 8GB, and the battery is just dead. I saw that Apple has an 'out of warranty' battery replacement program, which is great seeing that the idea of doing soldering myself scares me. The only thing is that my iPhone is unlocked/jailbroken so would Apple have an issue with that? Any info would be great! Thanks!

How could your phone be out of warranty? All Iphones have a one year warranty (in the US anyway), unless you bought yours before they came out some how you should still have a warranty.

Did you drop it and its open? If the phone doesnt look damaged you can get the battery replaced under warranty.

Yes I understood that but in his statement he was asking if they would give him a problem, if you are paying for it they probably wont care, but then again who knows.
