hi guys
any of you with scratches on your camera lens? Mine is so badly scratched that the quality is pretty bad. It looked very whitewashed when i look at it at the computer After looking thru the net i've kinda ruled out changing the back casing(can get it on ebay) because of all the horror stories. SO i thought of trying out displex? Any of you tried it before? Or have u guys tried dvd/cd cleaners? Apple support is out for me for the moment |

I made a post on this issue a few months back and was scoffed at by a few members of the community. "its got the same high quality scratch resistant glass as the screen!" they cried.
Yet the issue remains the same: if and when the screen gets scratched, you're sunk. Apple did very little to protect the lens. |

it's not that hard to replace the back cover. My wifes was trashed and I replaced it with one I got off of ebay. It looks new and you would never know it has been changed except it doesn't say iphone and it doesn't show the size. It's a very clean look.

Well, the lens cover is part of the back case.

Yeah, I have a scratch on mine. No idea how it got there since I keep very good care of it, but it's there all the same.
So far it doesn't really seem to affect the picture quality, but I sure am sick of the damn red/green tint.... I don't even bother taking pictures with it, the quality sucks.
