The Belkin auto charger does not work to charge the 3G iPhone but the audio out still works on it.

Do the ihome's give the nag screen? I really don't know if I feel like dealing with the stupid nag screen every time I plug in my 3G. I can't believe that they didn't somehow get this worked out ahead of time.

Alpine "lower end" head units (i.e. CDA-9883) will NOT charge 3G due no FW.

Nice.

The ihome does give the nag screen about airplane mode that's it. I even have the remote for my ihome and that controls the iphone 3G nicely

Pioneer FHP 8000BT

The Pioneer FHP 8000BT, which was kicking into Airport mode when iPhone 3G first came out is now working correctly after the 2.1 update. Full connectivity over bluetooth, full iPod control through the dock connector and charging exactly as it should. No warnings or anything weird at all.

mm50 and JBL On Stage II

Does anyone know if either of these work with the iPhone?

They both have pass through connectors for the white Apple cable, and from what I can tell from searching the forums these should work. Just wondering if anyone has any experience. I travel a lot for work and am looking at either of these to take with me.

Thanks.

Jaybird stereo blue tooth headphone = works. Does not need to be in plane mode

Macally FM transmitter/charger docking station for car cup holder (FMCup) = works. Does not need to be in plane mode. Charges phone (works well. There is also a new unit with BT, but haven't tried).

Jabra BT-8040 blue tooth head set = works (one of the few units that can pair with two phones at the same time)

I just bought a Bose Sounddock II and no nag screen.

Altec Lansing charging station/speakers for iPod plays the music on iPhone but does not charge. It will prompt for airplane mode first but chose NO and it will still play and you can receive calls

I have the JBL On Stage II + iPhone 3G and I've never used it with the charge cable but I can say that without it, it works very well save for the Airplane mode warning.
