Clicked on ad using News and can't get out

Using an Apple Favorite in the News app and accidentally clicked on a Best Buy ad. Can't get out of the ad to get back to Favorites. Any ideas?

Can you post a screen shot? Is there an X in the top left or right corner?

Have you backed up your iTunes Library this week? If not, you are risking losing your music and playlists....

No, no X or back arrow on the Best Buy ad which appears to be like a web page with links, etc., but it isn't using Safari. Whenever I open up News, I get that ad, can't get past it.

Have you killed the app? Double tap the Home button, slide up. Reopen to see if it is gone.

Have you rebooted the iPad?

I tried to kill the app, but wasn't successful. I solved the problem by Restoring from the Backup on my Mac. If I were away and without access to the Mac, I guess I would still have the problem.

That is a bad situation to be in. Restore was going to be my next suggestion.

Glad you found a fix.
