iMovie works great. You aren't going to find anything more advanced than that for an iPad.

I'd argue that Pinnacle Studio (formerly Avid) is as good as or better than iMovie.

iMovie is easy to use
I've been using it. I'll probably try Pinnacle Studio as well. Thanks!

I don't think its as easy. Advanced? Sure, that'd debatable. Easier? Not nearly.
