Back Cover for Logitech Ulrathin Keyboard Cover

Hi Everyone,

I have a Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Cover and it works great. Unfortunately, it offers no protection for the back of the iPad. (I have an iPad 2).

I was wondering if anyone has found a solution to this. I imagine any back cover is out of the question since the iPad won't fit into the keyboard's groove with one on.

I was wondering if anyone has tried the InvisaShield from ZAGG with the Logitech keyboard. Has it worked?

I haven't personally used the Insivashield with the Logitech keyboard (I don't have a keyboard for my iPad) but I can tell you that the protection offered by the Invisashield is minimal. It won't help if the iPad is dropped or bumped around, it only stops the back from getting scratched. It is expensive for what you get. If you want to protect the back of your iPad, I recommend looking at a skin instead. You will be able to change the design if you want and a good skin will set you back by $10-$20 instead of paying $40 for an Invisashield.

My needs are mostly in keeping the iPad's back from getting scratched. I imagined it wouldn't protect against any drop / bumps, but anything that does protect against that would not work with the keyboard.

Any recommendations for InvisaShield-type product, but not as expensive? I am sure that they have a huge mark-up on their products and that something comparable, and cheaper, is out there.

I don't. I recently purchased an iPad mini and someone bought me the full InvisaShield set (front and back) as a gift. I just used the Smart Case on my iPad 3 as I don't want a keyboard with my iPad. I suggest doing a search on Amazon as they always have less expensive alternatives. They may not be quite as sturdy as Zagg's products but they would offer the same level of protection. You would be able to find skins in retail stores without issues, they should be about $20.
