Books I downloaded to the kindle app on the iPad don't show up in iTunes
I know Amazon keeps my purchases but what about non Amazon books?
eg Project gutenberg and PDF's opened in the kindle app?
Do I need an non APPLE program ?
If so what
I remember things like ephpod from early days with my Ipod
The whole business of back up vs synching is , um , counterintuitive.
Naw , pretty f'ed up

none of the after market programs are clear as to this issue
I lost all my downloaded books the last time I restored

The Adobe App works like this:
Plug in the iPad to the iTunes computer.
Click on the iPad in iTunes.
Click on the Apps section, scroll down to the bottom half of the screen.
Click on the Adobe Reader App (in your case the Kindle App)
Now it may show you a list of your books on the right, and hopefully a Save or Download button so you can save it to your computer.

Did that work?
