Transfering Files from iPad to PC

Hi all,

I am a first time iPad user and just bought an iPad 3.

I take pictures with my iPad a lot and I am wondering how to transfer that to my PC which I synch with iTunes.

I use Dropbox so I saw that I can upload from Ipad to Dropbox and then download to PC.

But is there a better way to get pics from iPad to PC?

Thanks
Mike

The iPad should be detected as a digital camera in your photo software on a computer when connected by USB. Transfer them the same way as you would any other digital camera.

I believe iCloud will upload to the cloud and then download to the PC automagically.

I am using GoodReader app for transferring any file between my pc and ipad. So you can try with it. It will be easy to transfer.

iCloud should work if for some reason your pc isn't recognizing your ipad as a digital camera. Long as it's your "home" pc.

The app I like is PhotoSync. You install a client on your PC that runs in the background whenever your PC is booted up. PhotoSync then allows you to sync photos and videos to your PC through your Wi-Fi network. It's pretty convenient to sync from anywhere in the house without having to physically connect the iPad (or iPhone) to the PC.

Make sure you have installed iTunes on your computer. Now you can connect your iPad to PC via USB cable. And the software will automatically detect the device and show its info on the right window.
