iPod 4th gen Wants an iPad

I have an iPod Touch 4th gen. I want to get an iPad 64gig wifi.
Here are some stupid questions.

#1 - Same iTunes account???
#2 - Can iPod AND iPad access iTunes from the same PC???
#3 - Music sync'd to iPod....can it go on iPad? In otherwords: only 1 device, or 2?
#4 - If made for both devices, can a purchased app go on both devices? If not, can you back up into iTunes and then sync to iPad?
#5 - If yes on #1 and #2, will there be any problems if I backed up my iPod and then want to back up my iPad???

Sorry for all the questions but any help is greatly appreciated.

1. Yes. You can have 3945798327459879234759073290475902379457 different devices synced to your iTunes account, it doesn't matter. P.S. The above number is arbitrary to show my point as there is no set limit to the amount of iDevices (iPods, iPhones, and iPads) that can be tied to one Apple ID.

2. Yes. iTunes is smart enough to differentiate between different devices. You can hook a 16 port USB 2.0 hub to your computer and plug a iPad, iPad 2, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, 3G iPod touch, 4G iPod touch, 6G iPod nano, 5G iPod nano, etc. into your computer all at the same time and iTunes would be able to tell the difference between all of them.

3. Of course it can.

4. Yes. In fact, the iPad can run almost any app whether it is made specifically for the iPad or for the iPhone/iPod touch. The only iPhone apps that a wi-fi iPad can't run are the ones that require a 3G data connection. Other than that, you will be able to sync every app currently on your iPod touch to your iPad. You will not be able to sync apps made for your iPad to the iPod though. Apps developed specifically for iPads will only work on iPads.

5. No.
