Please tell me how to increase the audio volume on my iPad. Do I go to Settings? The volume dial on the lower right edge (in landscape mode) seems to have no effect.

There are a few ways to increase volume output on an iPad. You can either use the physical buttons on the upper right of the iPad or increase the bottom through the specific app. That is all you can do for increasing the volume output of apps. Also make sure that the volume limiter is not in place and keep in mind that your iPad might be volume capped if you purchased it in Europe.
