Thumbs down Ikit woes

On 4/21/10 in ordered an ipad drop case from ikit and paid for it through PayPal. I received a confirmation the same day of my order and payment. After send 3 emails to ikit with no response, on 4/30/10 I email Robert Laird in sales at ikit asking for his help with this matter. Mr. Laird had sent me an email sales solicitation. Mr. Laird forwarded my request to Kevin Kwok. On 5/4/10 I received an email from ikit stating that my order would be dispatched the 4th week of May and offered me a full refund IF it had caused me a problem, they also apologized. On 5/15/10 I received an email from ikit stating that my order would be dispatched between 19th and 21st of May by FedEx International Priority. On 6/2/10 I received and email from PayPal tell me I received a full refund and to contact ikit for details. I have again sent them 2 emails with no response and have email Mr. Laird for help. I’m very disappointed with iKit’s inability to communicated with customers and not meet their own deadlines. I never canceled my order with them. Think twice before ordering from this company. Caveat Emptor! This service may be good enough for the UK or Asia but it won’t fly in the good ol’ USA.

I too am having communication issues with ikit. The folio I received did not fit the ipad correctly - folio would remain open. After several emails on how to receive refund Robert said all I had to do was return case and email copy of reciept. Case was returned to them on June 12 (today is June 19) - have not received refund nor reply to emails on how it will be processed. Very disappointed with the product and the company as a whole.

Thumbs up iKit Customer Support is super fast

Hello Guys,

Just now I ordered iPhone 4 Chrome Flip Case from ikit store as it looks really cool. So, I ordered successfully however I didn't get any confirmation email, so I emailed them from the contact us and within 5 minutes I got a real reply not the auto responders from Oliver, and I was shocked as you have mentioned here that it took days to reply. Anyways, there was some issues with the payment so they are going to take few hours to send me the confirmation as well as they are going to ship me as soon the stock arrives on Friday. Anyways guys, I'm very happy with iKit customer support and I'm optimistic that iphone is going to be the best one as well. Lets see.

iKit sucks

iKit sucks, the product i got from them was iphone4 flip case chrome silver and I almost ended up my iPhone screen cracked. It's useless product and they don't have any support page on how to install and uninstall and now they don't even have that product on their homepage. if you are going to get something from them, think twice unlike me. waste of 40$. i feel sorry to myself.

sounds like a mess, but at least they were smart enough to give you back the money.
