iPhone app for separate email acct?

I am using the Gmail app on my iPhone 4, and I love it. It combines several of my email accts.

However, I have another email acct I would like to keep separate from these, but still access occasionally on the iPhone. It's also on Gmail, but it's an acct I use solely for buying stuff on the web, so all spam, advertising, and political mail goes there instead of to my personal email acct. I don't want notifications from this acct, but I do need to check it occasionally.

Is there some way to have a second email app on my phone that would access just this acct without having all the mail from it be merged with my other accts (which would overload my personal mail with junk mail)? I think this would require that the second app would NOT use the Mail account info from the iOS Settings (as my current app does).

Most articles I've seen assume that people WANT all their email from various accts merged, but I don't want my mailbox swamped with junk! Of course i can login via a browser, but it's clumsy.

Suggestions welcome!

The GMail app will do what you want, it is set up separately from the standard mail settings in iOS. So you can associate just this one account with the GMail app, no problem.

Perfect--I am continuing to use the Gmail app for most accounts and using the iOS Mail app for the account I seldom look at. Thanks!

You could also use the stock mail app for your spam account and just turn notifications.
