iPad/iPhone calendar

Hello,

Please forgive my naivety and my making a new post. I'm hoping someone can help me. I have iPad and my boyfriend has iPhone, we wanted to sync both our calendars so that we can view and edit each others. We shared via iCloud however on my iPad in the calendars it says shared by me on mine and shared by his on his which is great but on his phone, it appears as if it's my iPhone and all my calendars are present within his iPhone as if they are his and his also say shared by Tom, so if I try to invite him to something it doesn't work and invites me as it thinks both devices are mine. All we wanted to do was share two calendars on two different devices, can anyone advise the best way to do this? Many thanks

I think you have to keep both devices updated to iOS 5.1. Then turn on iCloud syncing for the calendars on both devices. Hope it will help.
