Forum Policy
All users are expected to familiarize themselves with our Forum Policy, which may be found at http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/ilounge/forumpolicy. iLounge tries to promote an open and friendly discussion forum, however certain behaviours will not be tolerated, and violation of Forum Policies may result in a user's membership being terminated without notice.

It is your responsibility to fully understand and comply with the forum policy.

Note that posts about free iPods, cheap iPods, or any other types of referral or advertising schemes are considered spam. Users making such posts will be immediately banned from iLounge without notice or warning.

Before you dive into the forums and start posting messages, please take the time to read these forum tips:
  1. Please take a moment to review the iLounge Forum Policy. Please pay particular attention to the guideline prohibiting cross posting (i.e. posting the same message in multiple forums).
  2. Before posting a question and/or starting a new topic, please take the time to use the iLounge Forums search facility. The forum archives are an incredible resource full of great information. There's a very good chance your question has been asked and answered before (perhaps even multiple times), or that the same topic has already been started.
  3. Also before posting a question, please read the iLounge FAQs to make sure your question isn't already answered there.
  4. If, after using the resources above, you cannot find an answer to your technical question, please provide all the pertinent details when posting your question. Providing details such as the following will greatly increase the chances you will get a quick and accurate reply:
    • iPod format (Mac or Windows)
    • iPod firmware version
    • Computer type / model (PC or Mac)
    • Operating system and version
    • Software used to update iPod (including the version)
