can i put an mp3 audiobook into the audiobook section of the ipod under music

an mp3 file will be under music by default. Only AAC m4b (PC) or m4a or m4b bookmarkable (Mac) will be in Audiobooks.
See the guides below in signature, especially the EZ Guide - so much easier with no file management, trick renaming, etc. $15 shareware. For free solution see Guide 1 and it is mac adaptable. I need a link to a mac mp3 merge freeware. Either solution will create a file that goes into Audiobooks, bookmarks (returns to where you stopped listening), and allows faster play mode.
