I own one of those titles. What does that say about my attention span?

The longest one on that list that I listened to was Lonesome Dove. It was excellent. Lee Horsley did a wonderful job of narrating. I was sorry for it to end, even after 36 hours!

You forgot "Atlas Shrugged" and the "Gulag Archipalego".
In fact, I believe the Gulag may be the longest book they carry. Not sure.

If only they could have offered a Type 4 (32 kbps) file, instead of the crappy 8 kbps that is the only option. I know this is not Audible's fault, as they didn't produce the title, they only distribute it. But, I now know why I appreciate the Type 4 files so much, even with the larger file sizes, which isn't an issue for me with a high-speed internet connection and the fact that I only carry 2 or 3 audiobooks on my iPod at any given time. I do think I would have enjoyed the audiobook more if I hadn't seen the miniseries back in 1989. The miniseries followed the book exactly, with a bit less detail, but the ending was done a bit different than in the book, but was better in the miniseries, in my opinion. |

New American Standard Bible
89 Hours, 15 minutes (!) boyah! Also Atlas Shrugged, Scott Brick version. 63 hours I'm listening to the Christopher Hurt version right now and its generally considered the better rendition. it's also shorter. |
