Sorry, man. Looks like you're out a mini. You really can't trust people, especially when they have only 13 posts. I would have done my trading with someone more respectable, or used an intermediary. If he made you ship first, then he almost definitely scammed you. If you have Applecare, you can buy a dead iPod and send it in for repairs. Unfortunately, that's the best I can do. Although, you said there was a FedEx tracking number. Does it register on the FedEx website?
