Today was my 13th birthday and my parents got me a 30gig ipod photo! The thing is I need a good case to go along with it. Im looking at the silicone cases but still really dont know what i should get. My spening limit is $45.

Welcome to the lounge and happy birthday to you :). The iSkin cases are very good and fit the iPod tight. The iSkin cases come with a click wheel protector. I have the Wild Skin - Diva & 1- evo2 Sonic & Artic. I like the Artic & Diva best. They do attach lint but the Artic doesn't show lint nor does the Diva Wild Skin. But the Sonic it will show on.
They also glow in the dark. If your gonna carry it aroud in a back pack then I would suggest not doing so with a silicone case. You will need something like a Contour case or just carry it in your pocket. As long as you get a Wild Skin or Artic or Ghost it will not show lint specks.

Just so u know not all iskins come with the wheel cover. Screen protector yes, but the wheel cover was a limited time offer. I would check to see if the one u ordered does in deed come with the wheel cover.

The zcover is basically a iskin clone that has a built in wheel cover. It looks pretty good. It looks pretty good on screen, but i would have to see it in person in order to say which is better the iskin or zcover. The one thing i would have to check out is the durability of the wheel cover and see how sensitive the wheel is after it's been covered.

The case on xskn.com is by Lajo. Are they the same company as iskin? I thought they were competitors.

No they are not the same company. xskn is based in china, while iskin is based in canada. The only thing i don't like about the xskn is that there is no holes on the back to vent any heat. You would have to take your ipod out of the case to recharge. The iskin lets the heat out. Other then that it's a nice case.
P.S. my iskin came with a wheel cover anyways. So i have the best of both worlds :D
