Protection for your Ipod...ISkin is the daddy

Right, Ive had an ipod photo for about a month now. I have used all kinds of protective cases and skins and today have received Iskins cover.

Its fooking marvelous! Its a rubber tight fit and completely covers the ipos up to its socket outputs/inputs.

The skin comes with a belt clip that is removable.

They also come with a hard plastic screen protector. The ipod screens are easily scratched! I Wouldn't recomend going anywere without the screen protected, you'll ruin it!

I got the arctic skin (they come in different sizes and colours) the arctic keeps the look of your ipod!

For Ipod photo you will need their EVO2 case in size A. On their wevsite it says they fit 4th gen 20gb and 40gb but the EVO2 also fits ipod photo 30gb and 60bg.

Its A size for 30gb and B size for 60bg.

Dont be a fool and ruin ya gadget!

Yeap I also use a iskin for my photo and it offers great protection! You might want to consider a iPoDonut Click Wheel Protector and Screen film for the photo too but just use the wheel protector

there is only one prob with the iskin i forgot...

Its a pain to keep removing and putting back on. It wont fit into a dock with the iskin!

I AGREE! I keep having to take it off and put it on... I am thinking of fitting a layer of protective clear sticker (like for PDA) and make it easier to fit in... you think it is going to work? :p

would be carefull! I dont like messin around with the ipod to much without any protection on it! they scratch and mark so easily!

I'm just gonna do without the craddle!

I have the ghost Iskin. It's almost the same colour as the arctic white, except mine glows aqua in the dark. Mine came with the screen protecter and the click wheel protecter.

I have the wasabi skin got it yesturday.Best case ever , but yeah it is a little hard to get off.

I also have the iskin on my 60. I agree that it doesn't fit in the dock so all I do is plug the firewire connection from the dock straight into the ipod. Works a treat and the pod stays in it's case

I wish i'd got the Arctic one now. I stupidly bought the Carbon version and it looks horrible. I used it for like 2 weeks and haven't put it on since.

I have the Sonic (blue) one. I love it. I was afraid of fingerprints and scratches (mainly scratches, but fingerprints just plain annoy me). I don't have a dock, but it works very well with the dock connector. It also looks very good. I was debating between the arctic and the sonic, but my friend said that arctic would make dirt very visable.

I went through 3 cases already. My first was decent except for the fact that it didn't have a screen cover so I went out and bought the DLO Jam Jacket. Now let me tell you that the Jam Jacket is a piece of junk. The screen protector is a thin strip of silicone that sticks to your screen. It may sound nice but if you want to put your Ipod in your pocket you might want to think twice. Everything sticks to the screen protector eventually covering it. My third case is the Iskin in Black. My only regret is not paying extra for the Wild Sides. My only disappointment is that they don't sell the Ipod Shades at the Apple Stores and you can't buy the click wheel protector unless you get a whole new skin.
