I use my Ipod for frame built videos but i was wondering if anyone knew a way to get around the firmware to all you to do the time per slide less then 2 seconds other then using the manual setting. If i could find a way to do time per slide in fractions of a second then i could have decent movies with sound that was in sync

nope... hence why people are looking forward to a possible 5G iPod video instead of just hacking a iPod Photo. the only thing that u can do to speed up the FPS is to use the clickwheel to flip through all the pictures. your thumb would probably get sore after a while though.

Thanks, I wonder how hard that hack would probably be, I hope someone knows how you would it, but until then i guess i have to keep looking.
