Contour showcase scratching screen?

has anyone else had a problem w/ their contour showcase scratching their screen? My ipod has a few scratches, and im not sure if its from the case or not, so I took it out and put it into my iskin.

any problems w/ the countour though? I dont wnat it to ruin my baby :(

None here. I'm pretty certain the Contour Showcase doesn't even touch my screen. However, there isn't a lot of room in between. Is is possible some dirt got in, got stuck between the screen and the case, and started scratching your iPod?

Sorry about the scratches. That sucks.

edit: I've read posts in which iPodders complained that slipping the iPod into the iSkin scratched the iPod.

It shouldn't as the six rubber stoppers inside the front of the Showcase keep the clear plastic off the screen. atomx is correct though, there is not a lot of room between the two - so a bit of sand/sugar/salt/dust/lint etc could easily put a very fine scratch on it.

Unfortunatley, the iPod's surface is very easy to scratch (even holding it in your hands can scratch it). I was extremely worried about my baby too. But I'm now over it - only took three months! Cheers.

Actually, I found mystery dots and scratches appearing on my ipod 30gb photo after I've put it in a Showcase for a few days...

Does anybody know how that could happen?

i have an extra screen protector on my screen :D and yea, dirt can easily get into the showcase
