just wanted to know, out of interest, how do i format my ipod shuffle?

one more thing though. When i convert my songs to aac format (for my shuffle) they get added to the library. I don't want them to be in the library, because itmakes me confused as to wether it is the original mp3 file. is there anyway, i can just copy the aac to my shuffle, without it being in my library?

Yes, if you right click on your shuffle in the Source list you can then click on the "iPod" tab and then check the box "Convert higher bitrate songs to 128 kbps AAC for this iPod". This will mean that when you update your iPod the songs will be converted to AAC as they are added to the shuffle.

but i want it to be 64kb/s becuase to me, they dnt sound any diff. from mp3, btw ive already converted it....
