Join Tracks

I cannot get my audiobooks to join as one track. I was given the 5th Harry Potter book on audio for my birthday. I imported the first 11 disks (of 23) and it let me join the tracks. It wouldn't let me get the rest of them as joined. When I had imported all 23, I burned them all to an mp3 dvd. I now want to import them all over again as 1 file. When I go to the advanced pull down "Join Cd Tracks" is not an option (its not highlighted). I really would like to listen to this, but I don't want to deal with all the chapters just floating around.

1. You were given what form of audio?
2. Why aren't you listening to your books on the iPod? Lots of trouble and time to convert to CD's. See the various guides below to convert to m4b bookmarking iPod files.
3. The entire 5th book is gonna be too big to operate satisfactorily on iPod. It irequires two files to avoid iPod "too large" limitation.
4. Click on the top of the left most, untitled column in iTunes and then try join tracks.
