I got the Apple case with my 30 GB Photo. Should I be using it, or does it cause more damage than good?

Best case I've ever used was the Apple Socks.

yes, the apple socks are quite good. They allow for easy dock and user access to the ipod. However, im not sure if they can cause scratches. Anyways, i would definetly reccomend the ipod socks.

i slightly regret getting the socks. they don't protect much at all. i sold the rest of the socks and bought myself a showcase :D but i have to admit the socks are good for a second case at home where you can just take out your ipod and admire the shiny back :D

Are you talking about the socks or the black slip in case?

I have the black slip in case. I use it occasionally.. usually i dont use a case at all. Anyway, i guess it does its job? I wouldnt workout or anything like that with it though.

i used one for a while when i got my ipod, and it served its purpose which would be protecting my ipod from drops. personally my favorite case is the contour design showcase in black.

Hi...I have had a bit of a runaround finding a case to fit my photo 60. I did however find a great lexan (plastic) case frp, the apple store made by Agent 18 (or agent18.com). The price was right and it fit; it protects, the screen is protected and full access to plugs is granted.

The run around involves finding a case for this beast that fits --- tried one of the leather ones from apple which claimed it would fit; had to send it back.
