im at a library trying to connect to their free wireless connection but not sure how to connect to it. the intructions are to have the network connections set to DHCP for both IP address and DNS. im not sure where to go to put these settings. help please.

Windows, or macintosh?
If you have a wireless card, can you actually *find* the network?

its windows and i believe i tried the find thing but i dont think i got anything. i do have a wireless card and there the library does have a wireless connection.

uhh jeeze ur card really is a difficult one to use..mine just lists the networks and i click connect...wat i recomend doin is finding the techno wizard of the library and have him show u wat to do cuz i sorta know how to connect to a wifi sig but uhh im stupid i cant really tell u how to do it i have to just..do it ya know..sorry ive been no help

Do you have a software firewall enabled?
