Hi,

I'm really sorry if this question has been asked many times in the past, but so far, I've found nothing using search and various topics like "USB 2.0", etc. Well, I have downloaded EVEREST Home Edition to help me try to understand if I have USB 1.0, 1.1 or 2.0, but so far, I'm still clueless. This line on EVEREST is really having me confused:

Controller USB1 Intel 82801BA(M) ICH2X/M - USB Controller 1 [C-0]

Yes, it says USB1, but what's with the ICH2X? Could anyone please tell me if this port is USB1 or 2? I'd really be glad to buy an iPod 20GO without having to buy a FireWire or USB 2.0 card.

Thanks a lot and sorry for the trouble,

-Karlof

Yours is not a USB 2.0 drive if it was it would say enhanced usb controller.
You don't have to use USB 2.0 for you ipod (I do some of the time)
If you want URLs for more information I have them it's just I can't post them, yet. But you can PM or Email me for them.
Good luck
