I have a 4th gen iPod and my brother is getting an iPod for his birthday. I don't really want to share my library with him since we both listen to different kinds of music, but we only have this one computer for music sharing. Is there any way I can alter iTunes so we can both have our own libraries?

Welcome and yes. Make a separate account for him and make sure to log on & off appropriately. Go to the control panel>user acc'ts>create a new acc't.

does this mean then that I can run my new ipod from my original itunes library?? (even though its a mini and my last one that broke was a 40 gb) without having to set up two itunes accounts???
