Hi

I've been using my ipod mini for months. Over the last few days tho, when I plug my ipod into my computer, the tick is displayed saying (ok to disconnect) for about 10 seconds and then disappears. The computer does not show the ipod is attached and neither does itunes. The battery doesnt charge on the ipod either when attached. I have tried resetting it but that doesnt work.

please can some1 help!

I'm using windows xp by the way

I would try to uninstall itunes .... and make sure it's uninstalled correctly.

Then reinstall your itunes and check for updates .. when you have itunes open go to "help" .. check for updates and you need to be on the internet.

Then once the updates if any are loaded ... try connecting your ipod.

You can also try running the ipod updater after downloading any updates. Maybe you could even try this first before uninstalling the itunes software. Just make sure you have installed any updates if they say they are available.

Go ... Start .. All Programs ... Ipod ... Updater and it will tell you when to connect your ipod.

Good luck.
